Wakasoleka kuŵa nduna ya nyumba mu Ogasiti 2012, m'malo mwa Fathi El Baradie.[10][11] Wakaŵa yumoza wa mamembala a FJP mu boma la Qandil. Nyengo ya Wafik yikamara pa 16 July 2013 apo boma la kanyengo kakulongozgeka na Hazem Al Beblawi likapangika.[12]
