Template:Flaglinkmedalist
{{{1}}}
()
Usage
lemba{{flaglinkmedalist|Athlete's name|Country code|optional link modifer|flag variant}}
The purpose of this template is to automatically provide a country link to a specific country page of a championships or games (for example United States at the 2012 Summer Olympics) on results articles for those competitions. The competition is derived automatically from the page title, so for example on the article Athletics at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Men's 100 metres a link will be automatically generated for "X at the 2012 Summer Olympics". The template will return any text in the title that is after " at the " and before " – ". Titles without those elements will be returned in full (e.g. 2015 World Championships in Athletics)
The optional link modifier is for athletics championships and should be a prefix to a competition named "...Championships in Athletics". For example, if "2013 World" is entered in this modifier, the outputted link will be for that country at the "2013 World Championships in Athletics".
Variants to the flag (for a country's historical flags, for example) can be generated by placing the variant code in the fourth field.
