This template is for listing links to move discussions on article talk pages. Add the move debates in the variable "list" if they should show up at all times. If there are a lot of nominations, consider using the variable "oldlist" for older move debates, which will be shown collapsed by default. Please note that this template should NOT be substituted when used.
Please list move nominations including the proposed move, the result of the discussion, the date of nomination and a link to the discussion page. You can also list moves that were made without discussion, if they are significant (though we do not need to capture all such moves, and minor spelling corrections, vandalism, capitalization errors, or moves which were quickly reverted can be excluded). For example:
* RM, Côte d'Ivoire → Ivory Coast, '''Moved''', 2 February 2002, [[Talk:Ivory Coast#Move discussion 1]]* Ivory Coast → Cote d'Ivoire, '''Moved''', 3 March 2002, "No discussion"
{{Old moves| small = true <!--(or "yes" or "on")-->| collapse = true <!--(or "yes" or "on")-->| title1 =| title2 =<!--etc, as required, to max title10-->| list =| oldlist =}}
Setting |small=true (or "yes" or "on") generates a smaller, imageless and right-aligned version of the template.
Setting |collapse=true (or "yes" or "on") overrules the difference between list and oldlist, showing all links to discussions in one list (collapsed by default).
For each |titleN=[pagename], where N = 1 to 10, a link to the move log for the page so named will be generated and listed.
list's contents are visible by default. To create bulleted lists for list (and oldlist), see the examples below.
oldlist's contents are hidden (collapsed) by default.
