Usage

lemba

This is equivalent of {{Audio}}, except scaled smaller and with the label predefined to "pronunciation".

These codes are equivalent:

Guy Verhofstadt ({{pronunciation|Nl-be guy verhofstadt.ogg|Dutch pronunciation|help=no}}) is ...
Guy Verhofstadt ({{small|{{Audio|Nl-be guy verhofstadt.ogg|Dutch pronunciation|help=no}}}}) is ...

which produce:

Guy Verhofstadt (Dutch pronunciation) is ...
Guy Verhofstadt (Dutch pronunciation) is ...

If only the first parameter (the file name) is specified:

{{pronunciation|En-us-eye.ogg}}pronunciation

The second parameter can be used to override the label that links to the audio:

{{pronunciation|En-us-eye.ogg|listen}}listen

Set the third parameter to either ( or ) to enclose the template in parentheses. Compare:

{{IPA|[aɪ]}} {{pronunciation|En-us-eye.ogg|listen|(|help=no}}[aɪ] (listen)
{{IPA|[aɪ]}} {{pronunciation|En-us-eye.ogg|(listen)|help=no}}[aɪ] (listen)
{{IPA|[aɪ]}} ({{pronunciation|En-us-eye.ogg|listen|help=no}})[aɪ] (listen)
