Mufulira uli pa mtunda wa makilomita 19 kumwera kwa mpoto kwa tawuni ya Mokambo, pa mphaka na Democratic Republic of Congo. Msewu wa asphalt kumwera-kumadzulo (M4 Road) umagwirizanitsa Mufulira ndi Kitwe, makilomita 43 (27 mi).

Mzinda wa Ndola, malo ogulitsira ndi kutumiza katundu wa Copperbelt, uli pafupifupi makilomita 105 (65 mi), pamsewu, kumwera chakum'mawa kwa Mufulira. Pali msewu ufupi (M4 Road) uwo uli na mtunda wa makilomita 70.

Mufulira wakukolerana na mphaka ya Mokambo na Luapula mu Zambia na msewu wa Congo Pedicle. Chigaŵa icho chikwenda kufuma ku Mufulira m'paka ku Mokambo chikuchemeka M5 Road apo nthowa iyo yikujumpha ku Congo Pedicle m'paka ku Chembe Border yikuchemeka Congo Pedicle road.
