Template:Discussion top/doc
This is a documentation subpage for Template:Discussion top. It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
The {{Discussion top}} and {{Discussion bottom}} templates are used to close discussions on a talk page or a noticeboard.
When used on a talk page, these templates should only be used by uninvolved editors or administrators in conjunction with the talk page guidelines and relevant advice at Wikipedia:Refactoring. They should not be used by involved parties to end a discussion over the objections of other editors.
Usage
lembaPlace {{Discussion top}}
below the header containing the discussion, then place {{Discussion bottom}}
at the end of the discussion. A summary of the conclusions reached may be included as a parameter in the former.
Again: Place them below the header. Do not include the header, it will break archiving bots!
